Hooters calendar girl and supercar influencer killed in McLaren fireball crash

A young Hooters model has been named as the second victim of a fireball crash after a supercar ploughed into a tree.

Alexis ‘Lexi’ Kramer,22,was killed alongside car influencer James Wehr,27,when the supercar they were riding in burst into flames.

Lexi stated chatting to Wehr over Instagram for a month before they met for their first date. They had breakfast together and

‘She loved the car community,so it’s such a tragedy that that’s what ended her,’ her sister Gracie Kramer told the New York Post.

‘As you can imagine,this was very shocking and hard. She was kind and funny and charismatic and I’ve had so many people reach out and share their wonderful experiences with Lexi.’

(Picture: wehr/Instagram)The supercar then burst off at high speed when the light changed before the driver clipping a kerb and ploughing into a tree at around 12.20am.It broke apart and then burst into flames,killing them both instantly.In an Instagram tribute,Gracie called her sister ‘my other half’.‘Lexi was so much more than just my best friend,she was all of my love,my heart,my attitude,and my humour wrapped into a smaller,more chaotic,less filtered,package,’ she wrote.Wehr was a leading car influencer and co-founder of South OC Cars and Coffee,a weekly meet-up for petrolheads.He boasts over 50,000 followers on his Instagram with many images of him showing off the all-black McLaren that he was killed in.Mr Wehr’s wife Emma, shared wedding day photos of the pair,writing in an emotional Instagram tribute:‘James,I never thought the day would come that I’d have to say such a final goodbye.’‘Getting the opportunity to love you will always be the greatest blessing in my life.’She described him as ‘smart,kind,funny,loving’ and ‘genuinely one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.’‘Whether its in this lifetime or the next my heart will always find its way to you,’ she added.‘Rest easy my love.’
