As global progress toward carbon peaking and carbon neutrality accelerates, environmental protection demand in Southeast Asian markets continues to grow. The Zhejiang Service Trade Exhibition (Indonesia) 2026, hosted by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, will be held from August 11 to 13 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. Twelve Zhejiang-based environmental protection enterprises will make a collective appearance, showcasing core technologies and customized solutions in solid waste resource utilization, membrane-based water treatment, smart water management, and other fields. With precise targeting of the Indonesian and broader Southeast Asian markets, the event aims to build a green cooperation bridge under the Belt and Road Initiative.
The participating companies cover key links in the environmental protection industry chain, from core components and complete sets of equipment to system integration and cloud-based smart services, and possess comprehensive capabilities for environmental governance in multiple scenarios. In terms of solid waste disposal and ecological restoration, they can provide integrated engineering solutions for solid waste treatment, resource utilization, and contaminated site remediation; In the field of water treatment, the company will focus on launching membrane-based water treatment technologies for the entire process, efficient membrane-based resource recovery solutions for industrial high-salt wastewater, closed-loop technologies for water resource recycling, and efficient and energy-saving aeration systems. The seawater desalination energy recovery solution is particularly noteworthy, as it can significantly reduce energy consumption, precisely address the pain point of Indonesia's freshwater shortage, and provide a "Zhejiang solution" for the optimal allocation of local water resources.
Leveraging Zhejiang’s early lead in the digital economy, several companies have unveiled integrated innovations combining “Intelligent Hardware + Digital Platform + Data Services.” These include smart water quality sensing and IoT monitoring, high-precision ultrasonic metering, smart valve control, and integrated management and control systems. These solutions help industrial parks and urban water utilities achieve refined and smart operations and maintenance management, showcasing new momentum in the digital and intelligent transformation of Zhejiang’s environmental protection industry.
During the exhibition, Zhejiang-based companies will leverage their experience with proven projects and localized service solutions to engage in in-depth discussions and targeted matchmaking with Indonesian environmental protection authorities, industrial parks, and leading water utilities. Exhibitors stated that they will use this exhibition as an opportunity to continue expanding the influence of Zhejiang’s environmental protection service trade brand, deepen green production capacity and technological cooperation between China and Indonesia, and contribute Zhejiang’s strength to the region’s green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.
